Super Foods, Super Fun

So upon returning to San Francisco, to hep jump start my resolve to healthier living I am going to embark on a three day juice cleanse. I have been researching them all morning and they do admittedly sound a little terrifying. But all in all I think the detox process will be a good way to start my body off feeling right.
I think that coming home has in some ways set me back a little in my new outlook on life. It feels like all my resolves and progress flew right out the window when I got back home. Apple warned me that this might happen, but when I was in SF that seemed completely impossible. I was on the right track, getting my life together and working toward my ultimate goals. But being home set me right square back into my comfort zone and with that came old habits of lethargy and a general sense of apathy. Also, being with my closest friends has made me miss them even more severely and I worry that when I leave in three days it will be like a fresh wound all over again.
But such is life and I have no intention of allowing myself to wallow. I am going to focus all my energy into pushing harder and looking deeper, in forcing myself to become the best version of myself and regaining the Annie that I let go over the years due to loss in confidence.
For now I am off to research more super foods and install my calorie counter into my computer.

As always, don't let me be the one making all the noise....

  1. 3 day juice cleanse, eh!? good luck woman. I'm at the point where all I have to eat is canned veggies and pasta. after that is done - i will embark on a diet quite like yours.

I am glad you are aware of where you are mentally. it's healthy and rewarding. I'm going to update my blog now.

    i love you.
